Massage Spa Ogden Lash and Wax
Stress is among the risk factors that can lead to chronic illnesses or even worsen your existing medical conditions. There are multiple avenues you can use to get rid of stress one of which is a professional massage.
Various types of massagecan be used to overcome stress such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and trigger point massage, among others. With your permission, the massage therapist can also use massage oils or hot stones to make the massage session more relaxing.
If your stress level is very high, a single session may not effectively get rid of your stress. You will need to go for several appointments before you can get tangible results. What is important is that with every massage session, you will experience positive changes in your mental, physical, and psychological health.
Massage Your Pain Away
There are instances when stress will be as a result of some pains in your body. A professional massage where the therapist will manipulate your muscles and tissues will help in overcoming the pain and as a result, you will get over your stress.
The massage therapist will consider the level of pain, your preference, and your general body health when determining the best type of massage for you. He can use Swedish massage, deep tissue massage or aromatherapy massage to make your condition better.
You Will Sleep Better
If there are situations that are causing you sleepless nights, a professional massage will make you relax and as a result, you’ll sleep better. The massage therapist may use a combination of essential oils that will boost your mood and help you to relax.
There are instances where stress is as a result of the lack of good sleep. You go for nights without sleep and as a result, your performance at work and other areas of concern is negatively affected. The good news is, you don’t have to endure all this when all you need is a professional massage.
Boost Your Recovery from Illnesses
There are times when you get stressed as a result of an illness that has taken too long to heal. Getting a massage will speed up the recovery process and as a result, you’ll be over the situation that had stressed you for long.
Enhance Your Performance
If you performed poorly in sports previously, getting a sports massage before the big day will greatly boost your performance. It will make your joints more flexible, help you to recover from any injuries, and prevent you from injuries.
Though there are numerous massage spa in your locality, not all offer professional massage services. Getting to know a place where you will get the most from your massage is the key to your recovery from stress. Do not forget that other factors that may have contributed to your stress and to completely recover, you need to sort out these issues as well. It may take some time to completely overcome the stress but every appointment will be a step closer to your full recovery.

Can Waxing be Dangerous in Certain Cases?

Waxing Ogden Lash and Wax
Waxing is undoubtedly among the most popular hair removal methods today. It will allow you to get rid of excessive hair in almost all parts of your body and stay for up to 3 weeks before the hair grows back. Unfortunately, there are instances where waxing hair removal is not the best option. This guide will help you to know when to keep away from waxing hair removal or remain cautious as it may cause more harm than good.
If you are expectanting, taking certain birth control pills or selected antibiotics
When pregnant or when under selected antibiotic or birth control pills, your skin could be very sensitive which increases your chances of getting waxing side effects. You should ask the esthetician to conduct a patch test to see how your body reacts to the wax. If after 24 hours you do not get any adverse reaction, you can then confirm your appointment.
If you’ve recently used strong exfoliators
Exfoliants such as glycolic or salicylic can irritate your skin and if you get on with the waxing hair removal in that condition, the side effects may be very severe. You should keep off any exfoliating products 3 days before your appointment to give your body time to recover. After your hair removal, you should avoid using exfoliants for at least 4 days to give you time to recover.
If You have sunburns as a result of recent sun’s exposure
Before your waxing hair removal appointment, it is important to stay away from strong sunlight as much as possible. Most estheticians will be forced to postpone your appointment until you are fully recovered to avoid side effects such as burns and skin irritation. You will also be advised to keep off the sun after your treatment to give your skin time to recover. If you must go out in the sub before or after your treatment, it is recommended that you wear protective clothing and apply a good sunscreen.
If you are intoxicated with alcohol or you had too much coffee
After taking too much alcohol or caffeinated drink, your skin will be super sensitive and getting waxed in such a state will lead to more side effects. If you must drink, do so at least several hours before your appointment. Ogden Lash and Wax policy prohibits the performing of services on clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
If you are suffering from a skin condition
You should seek medical attention for skin conditions such as severe acne before your waxing appointment.
Waxing hair removal is only safe when you are no suffering from a health issue that will get worse as a result of the process. If you are not sure whether your condition allows you to undergo waxing hair removal, ask your physician for directions.
It is also important to ensure that the spa you’ll be having your treatment observes high standards of hygiene.  For instance, ensure that the esthetician does not double dip, keeps the applicators in a closed container and that the wax is of the right quality. Remember you are paying for your hair removal and, therefore, deserves the best.
