Curlers for Eyelashes

How to Safely Use an Eyelash Curler

Picture
An eyelash curler will make your eyelash extensions look better and they will make you look more alert, giving you a defined look. However, any mistake in curling your lashes will either make you look worse or even cause damage to your precious lash curler. Here are great tips to help you:
  • Never curl your eyelash extension after mascara application: lashes that have mascara are harder and inflexible and it will be very difficult to shape them. They will end up breaking and may not give you the look you desire.
  • Always ensure that your eyelash curler is clean before and after use: You should have spare pads so that you will be able to clean the one you use every time. After use, the curler pad will be full of mascara, eyeshadow or even bacteria. Take some time each week to clean the pads using alcohol and cotton pads.
  • Replace the curler pads once in a while: The pads located inside the eyelash curler should be cleaned and replacement done after a few months. These pads offer protection of the eye against the metallic part of your curler and if you neglect them, you will destroy the eyelash extensions if they get into contact with the metal.
  • Do not clamp the curler too hard: pressing the curler too hard on the eyelash extensions will make your lashes have an awkward bend and may even break them. Be gentle and you will achieve the look you desire.
  • Buy high-quality curlers: For great results, you must be willing to invest in a good curler. This is a tool that you will use for a long time and you will therefore not need to replace it anytime soon. You should consult with your makeup artist who will advise you on the best brands available in the market.
An eyelash extension curler should help you look better and not cause damage to your precious lashes. You should, therefore, use it as instructed in the user manual or ask for directions from the experts.
