How to Communicate the Price of Eyelash Extensions Application to a Client
A customer who comes to your spa for a lash application should not be allowed to leave the spa in a bad mood because you failed to communicate the prices in a proper way. No client should feel overcharged for a service because you will need that customer tomorrow if you will remain in business. Below is a guide in regards to communicating the prices to your clients:
  • Be transparent: You should have a ready price list for all the services offered at the spa. Every service that is included in the price list should be well detailed including the duration that the lash application will take, the lashes that will be added, and the aftercare. Make sure that your clients understand the cost of the service they will be getting before the application is carried out. This will prepare them so that they will not be shocked when they get the bill after the service.
  • Let the client understand if what is being done is a full set or a refill. You should also explain to what extent a lash extension application will be termed as a refill and when a full set is being applied. If the eyelash extensions remaining are less than 40%, there is no way a refill will be done. Let the client know that she has to pay the price of a full set.
Never start a lash application before agreeing on the price with the client. A client who is charged more than she had planned to pay will brand you as unprofessional and speak ill of your spa on social media. This will ruin the good image you were trying so hard to build on social media. It is easier to spread a bad rumor regarding a brand than it is to market the same brand to the people. Be careful how you hand the eyelash extension prices and you will not have to deal with such incidences.
