How to Make Eyelash Glue at Home

Picture
The chemical content of the glue used in making the glue used by professional spas is causing serious side effects. You will not know which glue will not harm your eyes or the skin around your eyes, yet you need to look and feel good in those eyelash extensions.
Here is a simple guide to making your own harmless glue at home:
  • You will need a half tablespoon of sugar, one honey drop, three tablespoons of water, one drop of non-poisonous white glue and a small container preferably a cup.
  • Pour the half teaspoon of sugar, the drop of honey, three tablespoons of water, and the drop of the non-poisonous white glues in the container.
  • Stir the ingredients until you come up with a liquid that is light yellow in color which appears a little gritty.
  • Let the mixture settle for about two minutes. This is to allow the ingredients to completely dissolve in water and when this is done; your homemade eyelash extension glue is ready for use.
  • To use the homemade glue, you will require a small-sized paintbrush which you will dip in the glue and then apply the glue along the eyelash line. You will then apply the eyelash extensions on the glued surface.
  • Hold the lashes along the glued line for about ten seconds to make sure they are stuck. If you find that the drying process is taking long, you can speed it up by use of a blow drying equipment whose heat should be low.
If you are allergic to honey or any of the ingredients used in making the glue or your eyes are very sensitive, do not use the homemade glue. You should use a wet cloth to loosen the glue when you feel the need to remove the eyelashes. This will avoid causing damage to the natural lashes.
