Reasons Why Eyelash Extensions Can be Prematurely Removed

Though eyelash extension application is an expensive procedure and will be an injustice to remove them after only a few days, the following are circumstances under which lash extensions should be removed as soon as possible:
  • If the eyelash extensions are falling off and you do not have an intention of having them filled: In this situation, the best option will be to remove the extensions which should be done by the aesthetician who applied the eyelash extensions.
  • If you have developed an allergic reaction after the eyelash extension application: If you notice that you have developed rashes around the eyes or your eyes are swollen, you will need to have the lash extensions removed before the condition gets worse.
To avoid such a situation, you should ask the aesthetician to conduct a test patch so that you can rule out any allergic reaction before the complete application of the eyelash extensions.
  • If you are experiencing a pricking sensation in your eyes, it is possible that some of the natural lashes were stuck together when the eyelash extensions were being applied. If this is the case, the eyelash extensions should be removed with immediate effect.
  • If the eyelash extensions are causing a lot of pain; if the lash extensions are causing you a lot of pain, it is possible that the lash extensions were wrongly applied. The esthetician may have used too much glue or the lash extensions were wrongly separated.
To ensure that you do not have to remove the lash extensions prematurely, you should ensure that you go to a professional for the eyelash extensions application. Do not go to a cheap spa in the name of saving money on the application of the lash extensions as this will end up costing more than you would have used to have a professional esthetician apply the eyelash extensions.
